Sports Chiropractic Adjustment

  • Recovering from an athletic, gym, or sports injury
  • Looking to level up your fitness or competitive skills
  • Interested in working out but not sure where to start?

You don’t have to be injured to book a sports chiropractic appointment. If you want to improve your overall physical performance or make yourself more competitive, a sports adjustment is the perfect place to start. Set yourself up for success by optimizing your body’s posture and letting it work better for you.

An adjustment can optimize your joint mobility, increase blood flow, and improve your neuromuscular communication. This helps prevent injuries before they can occur—so you can spend more time doing what you love and less time in pain. If you do get hurt, chiropractic care can speed your recovery time by preventing compensation from other body parts and addressing inflammation at the source. Our SoftWave machine is the ideal recovery technology, for after a workout or after an an injury,

What should I expect from a Sports Chiropractic Adjustment?

Think of our Sports Adjustment as a more focused version of our General Chiropractic Adjustment, concerned with your body’s biomechanics.

  1. First, you’ll have a conversation with one of our chiropractors about your physical activities, experiences of pain, and any injuries. They may also ask for a demonstration of your form to understand how your body is currently functioning.
  2. Next, your chiropractor will treat the specific body parts you utilize most during your sports or physical activity, and they will stabilize the surrounding joints to further support you. You will still receive a holistic adjustment, but we’ll pay special attention to the parts of your body that experience the most wear.
    • For example, if you’re a pitcher, your chiropractor will focus particularly on your arm and shoulder mobility. (And they’ll also check your neck, spine, hips, and legs to make everything functions properly.
  3. If you’re recovering from an injury, our chiropractors will design a specific treatment plan to speed your process. They can incorporate physical therapy and strengthening routines into your adjustment.

We also offer athletic taping for performance and stability. Stop in before your gym session or next game to set yourself up for success.
